Introducing – Pleasure Island Mobile Car Wash

One of the great things about taking the year off is that it affords Britt the time to work on doing something for himself.  When I was working, he was a stay-at-home Dad.  It’s hard to take care of the rowdy red-head and her compadre Lando and get ANYTHING done.  I know many of you out there can appreciate that.  He has also been going to school at night for HVAC repair, which is a hot business down here in the south (no pun intended).  But in his heart – he doesn’t want to work for someone.  And who can blame him.

So while I’ve been at home for the last month, he has launched a new business – Pleasure Island Mobile Car Wash.  The concept is that rather than you taking time out of your busy life to drive all the way over to the auto detail shop, he will bring the detail shop to you.  Or maybe you are a stay-at-home mom or dad and don’t want to pack up the kids to get the car washed.  No worries, he will bring the car wash to you. It’s all about convenience.  Who doesn’t love convenience?

AND not only will he save you time, he will also save you money.  Since he doesn’t have a big shop to pay for, he can take that savings and pass it on to his customers through lower prices.

I’ve been busy helping him with his logo, website, marketing products and general business & finance advice.

Here are some brochures I designed for him last night.

Good Luck Britt!!!

ps – the logo was designed by Inkblot Graphic Design Studios.  She did a really great job and I love the logo – it has Britt written all over it.  I am designing and building his website, www.pleasureislandmobilecarwash.com.  But don’t laugh when you see it.  I’m only half way through the Girls Guide to Web Design class.  I just started the lessons on HTML and CSS, so I only know the very basics.  As I learn more, I’ll beef up his site.

By the way, it is an AWESOME class.  I know you can self teach this stuff online, but I learn much better through instruction and I am also very impatient.  I am so happy I invested in this class.  If you are interested – there is a link on my sidebar.  (Yes – it’s an affiliate link, but I wouldn’t have it there if I didn’t like the product.)

pps (or is it pss) – well either way, if you don’t live here and are wondering why Pleasure Island, that is the name of the island we live on.

Have a blessed day.  Keep your cars clean by using Britt’s new business (if you’re on the island), and see you next post.
